Job Description

This is an exciting time for a professional Director of Human Resources to join one of our top tier clients supporting the Sr. VP of Human Resources in New York City.

  • Oversee benefits, compliance, training and development and implement of all training programs {Learning and Development}
  • Work closely with other HR colleagues to develop and execute Policies and Procedures to ensure group synergies wherever possible throughout the organization.
  • Work with SVP to develop and administer corporate compensation program in conjunction with company guidelines.
  • Work with SVP to develop and advance process and systems upgrades to align with the organization s transformation, growth and strategy.
  • Collaborate with Finance on departmental budgets and expenditures.
  • Employee Relations throughout all groups and counsel company s employees on an as needed basis.
  • Ensure the company s Headquarter Office is maintained in a professional and business-like environment, providing an efficient and well-organized office services function.
  • Manage employee relations in a multi-site organization including performance management, disciplinary actions, communication, and policy interpretation.

  • 4 year degree.
  • A 10-year proven track record in the field of human resources & management.
  • Strong organizational development, performance management skills.
  • Solid understanding of benefits administration, compensation practices and employment law.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with solid business acumen and industry competitive intelligence.
  • The leadership ability to manage change while ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • The ability to promote company core values as well as to coach and develop teamwork and teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.

Travel required based on the business needs.
